Long Range Jet - Airborne Early Warning - CATOBAR
Long Range Jet - Airborne Early Warning - CATOBAR
The E700 Naval Eye program introduces a new generation of AEW aircraft based on the Cessna Citation Longitude C700 jet platform, delivering enhanced capabilities with reduced logistical burden. With approximately twice the range and twice the speed of current legacy AEW aircraft, the E700 is designed to significantly enhance the U.S. Navy's airborne early warning and surveillance capabilities.
A high-performance, long-range jet featuring CATOBAR capability and folding wings for carrier-based naval operations, enhancing AEW capabilities by providing greater range and longer-duration coverage.
The aircraft is designed to fit within the dimensional constraints of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. Its overall dimensions are compatible with available aircraft elevators, hangar spaces, and flight-deck maneuvering areas, allowing it to be transported between the hangar deck and flight deck and positioned for launch and recovery operations.
